BC Lions -3 (-110) @ Calgary Stampeders -- 1.5 units: I've been leaking units the past few weeks, so despite the fact that I really like this play, I'm going to keep it moderately small. Win or go to Regina for the Lions. Really, it's more about not going to Regina for the players. Meanwhile, David Braley is stressing the importance of a home game. No matter what the motivation, everyone is ready for this game. Lions are pulling out all the stops to get a victory this week, as Pierce starts and Logan comes back, despite neither player being 100%. This is not a major concern, as Pierce has been hurt for a while, without really dropping off his production, and Ian Smart is a very capable backup (see last week's stats). The Lions are going to be going all out, and have been all business this week. Meanwhile, the Stamps, despite not making any public announcements (that I've read/heard) about benchings, have been taking it easy this week. Most of the players were out trick or treating with kids, and having a good time tonight, while the focus is some-what on personal goals (Rambo, Reynolds). What it boils down to is two even teams... one with home field secured, and the other playing to stay out of Regina. Take the hungrier team.
